Our Mariners Weekend

We had a blast, laughing, shopping, eating and well laughing some more. There were a couple times we were laughing so hard we were crying and making fun of one another. All in all it was again another fantastic Mother's Day trip. A Gift to one another. Always looking forward to this trip. Started off with our dinner at Outback Steak House, with a dork of a waiter... Then next morning with tons of shopping, and A Mariner's Game! then to get ice cream and a good nights sleep, man were we tired..... up to get breakfast and the trip home. Miss them already!

A Day of Busy Fun!

Well Hannah had planned to spend the weekend with a friend, so that left me with 2 kids and minimal arguing. It was a great day! Hallie, Logan and I started the day at the Hillsboro Farmers Market getting plants for our garden, and o ya COULDN'T leave Nika at home.

And well Logan couldn't sit still for a moment, he decided to go for a climb

Look, No fighting just planting Sunflowers Seeds. It truly was a Fantastic Day !


Then we were off to see our pet goat George... George stays with the other goats that we use to own, well for now anyway. He is more like a dog and would probably do just fine hanging out with Nika in the yard.

Then there is Moose always in your business, he is the new Smokey and if you remember Smokey he was a one of a kind kitty !

It's Official !!! Top Notch Fence and Deck

John has been doing fences and decks for the past few years as side jobs, he got a wild hair and decided this would be his future...
Building and being creative is his passion, he's a thinker.

Dave a longtime friend and excellent business man had got that wild hair too.

They have established Top Notch Fence and Deck, fully licensed and bonded. John passed his contractors test with flying colors and so it begins. The journey to provide excellent craftsmanship and only the BEST Customer Service.

Happy 9th Birthday Hallie!

Hallie has finally turned 9 and she thought the day would just come and go, little did she know I planned a pizza party. Make and baked by the girls. A girl without a clue.... we kept the secret for quite sometime. Until Hallie, Hannah and Jessi (Hallie's BFF) went to the barn for a ride on horses while the surprise was underway. About 30 mins prior to the first guest arriving I got a call from Barb at the barn, " Jill, Hallie and Jessi fell off Oklahoma ( Hallie's Horse )" Logan and I jumped in the car with no time to spare. Well the girls were just fine, feeling a little frisky Oklahoma decided to go a bit faster then normal. Jessi bailed off as they were headed down the hill at a gallop, Hallie was gonna hold on for everything, headed toward the trailer with irrigation pipe Oklahoma was sliding to stop Hallie went flying thru the air and landing under the trailer. Hallie came crawling out from under the trailer to see her horse grazing on grass.... She didn't know weather to laugh or cry or be mad. Well needless to say bumps, bruises and limps are something that come with the territory and all in a days work...

Sitting on the couch with an ice pack, guest started to arrive. It was time to start the party !!!

A great group of girls, decorated aprons, made pizzas, played Uno, played outside (swing and tether ball ). Then they had a watermelon eating contest, played limbo, danced the chicken dance, opened present and ate cake and ice cream.... what an afternoon!

Laughs and Giggles from BFF, so very glad Hallie has a great friend.... Tons of Fun!

Working can sometimes be relaxing too.....

Home Sweet Home!

We have finally settled into our new home.
We live out in the middle of farming country, and love it!
