Banks Bar-B-Que & Combine Derby !

Around here in our small town we do things that are out there. We wouldn't have it any other way. Small town family, friendly fun at the Banks Bar-B-Que.

It all starts with a Texas Holdem tourney, The Parade, Bar-B-Que, Tractor Pull and the Combine Derby!

Okie was a great sport!

Hannah and Okie, Katie and Hero AKA Dude were just a few who dressed up and rode representing the barn where our horses live. Rolling hills Stables.

The kids represented well and placed 1st in the parade

It all started here, showing Othello the best she could !
Hannah had to show, Dairy Cow, Beef Cow, Hog, Sheep and Fiber, Pygmy and Dairy Goats

That was an experience !

She has shown Dairy Cows before with The Evers Family

Hogs, they are a whole different story, one I'm sure Hannah would rather not repeat

And then there are Sheep, hmmmm well that's where it all began one year ago!

Way to go Hannah, go get'em next year!

Off to Washington County Fair

Hannah showing Othello in market class, she did Fantastic and got Intermediate Grand Champion for Boer Goats and participated in Master Showmanship on the Final Sunday

Hannah has a keen eye for fantastic pets... Aladin her Angora Bunny did well in his first show.

Won Best in Show ( Woohoo ) way to go!!!

Then there is Hallie, she loves to hang out at the Evers Dairy and well she loves to help them show at the county fair

Another busy weekend... Girls Weekend !!!

WOW! The summer has gone by .....

We went to Idaho for some fun a the water park, yes again this year... The all the kid enjoy themselves so much. I think they are all water dogs.

A raft ride down a long tube, had me scared to death, but the kids managed to hit that raft ride every 10 mins... They thought it was the coolest ever and once I traveled down it a couple more times I was good to go!

A 90 + degree day, blue sky and a view for miles.

Then appears Bambi,

Well, I can't believe Hannah is 13 ( a teenager ). She is a wonderful girl so caring and incredibly responsible. A great student and her love for animals has her thinking of her future. Wow! how time has gone by. She is a terrific daughter to John and I, a big sister to Hallie and Logan

And a GREAT Friend to all...

Our Mariners Weekend

We had a blast, laughing, shopping, eating and well laughing some more. There were a couple times we were laughing so hard we were crying and making fun of one another. All in all it was again another fantastic Mother's Day trip. A Gift to one another. Always looking forward to this trip. Started off with our dinner at Outback Steak House, with a dork of a waiter... Then next morning with tons of shopping, and A Mariner's Game! then to get ice cream and a good nights sleep, man were we tired..... up to get breakfast and the trip home. Miss them already!

Love you both and laughing was the best!
